Johnny Manziel’s domestic violence case has been conditionally dropped, but he still has to meet a few requirements.

WFAA in Dallas reported that Manziel must complete an anger management course, attend a domestic violence victim impact panel, and take part in the NFL’s policy and program for substance abuse or a rehabilitation program. If he fulfills those requirements the assault case against him will be dropped.

Manziel was accused of hitting ex-girlfriend Colleen Crowley and dragging her into a car against her will. He faced misdemeanor charges but prosecutors agreed to drop the charges if he meets those requirements.

Manziel, the 2012 Heisman Trophy winner and a 2014 first-round pick of the Cleveland Browns, is coming up on the one-year anniversary of his last NFL game. Last Dec. 27 he started for the Browns against the Kansas City Chiefs. He didn’t play in Week 17 and was cut in the offseason. Manziel started and helped the Browns to a win last Dec. 13, and that’s the last game the Browns won. Manziel drew virtually no interest on the open market after the Browns cut him.
